About Dr. Rebecca Chou

Acupuncture for pain, stress, and active lifestyles in Orange County

Who I am

A woman with long dark hair sitting on a beige armchair in a cozy living room, holding a beige coffee mug, smiling at the camera, with a wooden side table and a glass teapot nearby.

I came to acupuncture through my own experience with the body—first as an athlete, and later through a deeper interest in how the body heals and adapts under stress.

Being active has always been a big part of my life, and I’ve experienced firsthand how pain, tension, and stress can impact performance, recovery, and overall well-being. That perspective is something I carry into every treatment.

My approach to acupuncture is focused, practical, and results-driven.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor each session to how your body is actually presenting—whether that’s physical pain, nervous system overload, or a combination of both.

The goal is to help your body:

  • Reduce pain and tension

  • Regulate stress more effectively

  • Recover and function at a higher level

MY APPROACH

Patients often tell me they feel more relaxed, grounded, and physically at ease after treatment.

Whether you're coming in for pain, stress, or both, sessions are designed to create a space where your body can reset and start to heal.

WHAT PATIENTS EXPERIENCE

I work with patients who are looking for a natural, effective approach to their health, including:

  • Active individuals dealing with pain or injuries

  • Women experiencing stress, burnout, or tension

  • Patients who feel like their symptoms aren’t being fully addressed elsewhere
