Acupuncture for Pain, Stress & Active Lifestyles

Personalized treatments with Dr. Rebecca Chou at Harmony Wellness in San Juan Capistrano.

Targeted support for the conditions I treat most often

Chronic Pain & Musculoskeletal Care

Focused on reducing pain, improving mobility, and restoring function so patients can return to training, work, and daily life with less restriction.

Fertility Support

Acupuncture can be used alongside natural conception efforts and assisted reproductive treatments such as IUI and IVF to support cycle regulation, stress reduction, and reproductive health.

Women’s Health and Hormonal Balance

Treatments focus on regulating the menstrual cycle, supporting hormonal shifts through different life stages, and improving symptoms related to stress, mood, and energy.

A Focused Approach
to Healing

As a practitioner, I focus on how the body responds to long-term stress—whether that comes from hormonal shifts, digestive imbalance, autoimmune patterns, or the demands of daily life.

My treatments are individualized and root-focused, working to support regulation across the body’s systems rather than just addressing isolated symptoms. The goal is to help restore balance, improve overall function, and support sustained well-being over time.

What to Expect

Each session is tailored to your specific concerns—whether you're dealing with pain, stress, or both.

Treatments are designed to help your body relax, recover, and function more efficiently over time. Many patients notice improvements in both physical symptoms and overall stress levels.

How I can help you

Personalized Acupuncture

Each treatment begins with a full consultation so I can understand your health history, symptoms, and goals. Based on what you need that day, I may incorporate techniques like cupping, gua sha, tui na (bodywork), or myofascial release. These sessions are designed to support you physically, emotionally, and energetically — always personalized, always grounded in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Cosmetic Acupuncture

Each treatment includes facial cupping, massage, gua sha, and acupuncture to treat both the body and the face. By first supporting internal balance and circulation, we create the foundation for vibrant, healthy skin. Facial acupuncture then stimulates collagen production, softens fine lines, reduces puffiness, and releases muscle tension helping to naturally lift and refresh the face. This holistic approach leaves you glowing from the inside out.

Herbal Support

As part of your care, I may suggest Chinese herbal formulas to support things like digestion, sleep, energy, or hormonal health. While herbs aren’t the main focus of my practice, they can be a gentle and effective complement to acupuncture — recommended when appropriate, and always tailored to your specific needs.
